About My Clients
Therapy, when it works, is one of the strangest and most meaningful things a person can do. You sit with someone who begins as a stranger, say things you've never said out loud, and something shifts — because being genuinely known is powerful, and increasingly rare. I specialize in working with entertainment, media, and creative professionals, though that's never a requirement. The ones I work best with are curious, often hurting, and show up anyway — and that matters a lot.
My Background and Approach
What we do together is a lot like an investigation. We'll explore your history, sense of self, relationships, and the bigger questions underneath: what you're living for, and whether the life you're building reflects who you are. I primarily practice through a psychodynamic and relational lens, drawing on practical tools like mindfulness and problem solving when needed. For couples, I integrate Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 3 training). Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in media, which gives me a particular fluency with clients in and around the entertainment, media, and creative industries — though I work with anyone ready to go deeper. The relationship between us matters a lot. We'll develop our own rhythm, our own shorthand, and our own way of getting at things. I'll push you when you need it, and find the absurdity in the hard stuff when the moment calls for it. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
