In my work, I draw from various evidenced based therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR) and weave them together as a way to personalize your therapy experience. Human existence is inherently unique for each of us, and that means a uniquely tailored approach to therapy is important. Life isn’t linear, and neither is therapy.
Aside from being a therapist, I’m also a flawed human being, as I expect you are too. I make mistakes, I have bad days, and I have my own biases that require regular checking. My willingness to share my humanness and truly accept the humanness in others is part of what sets me apart as a therapist. It allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, an essential part of therapeutic process.
