About My Clients
I help teens and adults make sense of their experiences, build self-compassion, and create a life more aligned with their values and needs. I am neurodivergent and passionate about anti-ableist, neurodiversity-affirming therapy that considers the whole person in context. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, body-inclusive, and I'm committed to lifelong learning (and unlearning). Come as you are!
My Background and Approach
I work with teens, adults, and couples who want to feel more connected to themselves and to each other. I support clients who want to heal past wounds, resolve internal conflicts, explore identity and unmasking, and improve their relationships. In couples work, I help partners understand patterns, strengthen emotional safety, and find new ways to communicate and navigate conflict. I draw from multiple approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (attachment-based work), EMDR (trauma reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (“parts work”), and mindfulness of bodily sensations and responses. These approaches help us move beyond just talking about things and into meaningful, lasting change. Whether we’re processing trauma, understanding your inner world, or building new relational patterns, I work to accommodate your needs and the life you want to create.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each person has a natural healing potential. Experiences like trauma and marginalization lead us to lose touch with our ourselves. My role is to help you reconnect with that deeper self. I believe therapy should feel like a safe relationship where all parts of you are welcome: the overwhelmed ones, the exhausted ones, the ones longing for change, and the ones afraid of it. As a neurodivergent therapist, I also believe healing must be accessible and affirming for people whose experiences don’t fit cultural “norms.” I honor the ways you’ve adapted to a world not built for everyone. I believe quality therapy should be accessible. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale (reduced fee) spots for clients who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. These spaces are offered on a case-by-case basis. Above all, I believe change is possible for each of us.
