About My Clients
I work with adults (and young adults) navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, trauma and the pressures of change, whether personal, professional, or both. Many of my clients are high-achievers, leaders, caregivers or those who’ve spent years holding things together for others while running on empty themselves. Together, we create space to untangle what feels overwhelming, reconnect with what matters most, and build a plan for the road ahead.
My Background and Approach
I bring a grounded, practical, and forward-focused approach to therapy. My work is informed by clinical training, EMDR certification, and more than 25 years as an entrepreneur, advisor, and coach to executives and mission-driven leaders. I know firsthand the complexities of leadership, caregiving, and navigating life’s turning points. In therapy, I combine evidence-based practices with lived experience to help clients move from feeling stuck to finding clarity and direction. My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and compassionate, always tailored to your needs. I integrate EMDR, talk therapy, CBT and practical strategies to address anxiety, depression, trauma and major transitions. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel understood and supported, while also offering tools you can use in daily life. Therapy with me is not about fixing you. it’s about helping you access resilience, uncover insights, and move forward with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe deeply in the power of resilience and community. Outside of my therapy practice, I’ve spent decades championing causes that strengthen youth mental health, families and caregivers. I co-founded two philanthropic foundations that have awarded hundreds of microgrants to nonprofits serving children, youth, and families. I serve as a CASA volunteer, advocate for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect, and actively support organizations addressing mental health access and equity. I value compassion, authenticity, and practical support, whether in a therapy room, a boardroom, or community settings. My lived experiences, including co-parenting, loss and the realities of balancing leadership with caregiving, shape how I show up for clients: with empathy and honesty. I believe therapy can be a place not just for healing, but also for rediscovering purpose and strength.
