About My Clients
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or stress management? Are you in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol and are finding it difficult to cope with "life's day to day problems?" Perhaps you would like to improve your communication skills with your partner, family or friends. We all have unique experiences and strengths that can help us handle the stressors life throws our way. Therapy can be a tool to further develop those strengths while also building new strengths.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with those who are dealing with Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD and Substance Use Disorders. I also have a lot of experience with those who are going through substantial life transitions (moving, new jobs, divorce or other relationship related issues,) grief, low self-worth and anger management issues. I also help people improve their communication with their loved ones. I would like to work together to understand how your life experiences shaped who you are today. I enjoy assisting clients with improving their self-awareness, creating goals and making change. I like to integrate various therapeutic modalities into my practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivation Interviewing.
