About My Clients
I accept clients of all ages, backgrounds, viewpoints, and faiths. My current caseload focuses on teens and adults, although I also have also worked extensively with older adults. I have experience seeing clients who have grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I am here to foster healing and resilience, helping clients build a life aligned with their authentic self and aspirations. Although I commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. During our first session, we will discuss what brings you in and your experience with therapy. Throughout our next few sessions, we can collaboratively work with what approaches speak to you best.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Feeling a strong connection with your clinician is essential for building trust and rapport in therapy. I acknowledge that I come from a place of privilege in many ways. I am committed to continue learning so I can be the best ally and supporter available to my clients. I am trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and a member of the LGBT community.
