About My Clients
You might feel overwhelmed, self critical, or exhausted. Maybe you struggle to say no, second guess your needs, feel responsible for others’ emotions, or are still untangling the impact of growing up with emotionally immature parents. If you are neurodivergent, navigating high functioning anxiety, or carrying the effects of complex trauma, you are not alone and therapy can help. If you are new to therapy, it's okay to feel unsure where to start. We can figure that out together.
My Background and Approach
My approach draws from psychodynamic and family systems models, and I have specialized training in complex trauma. Together, we will explore how past experiences shape your present patterns and coping strategies, and relationships. We will work on things like setting boundaries without guilt, understanding your triggers instead of being hijacked by them, and communicating your needs more clearly. I am engaged and active in the room, and balance warmth with honesty and gentle challenge. Finding the right therapist matters, let’s talk and see if we're a good fit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is that we all need a “side view mirror” in life—someone who can help us see ourselves more clearly, notice blind spots, and navigate change with greater awareness. My view is that this is one of my roles as a therapist: to offer reflection, perspective, honesty, and hard but necessary questions so you can move forward with confidence and intention. Outside of therapy, I’m a mom, artist, plant enthusiast, partner, and friend. These parts of my life keep me grounded, creative, and feeling alive.
