About My Clients
My clients come from all walks of life and backgrounds. I work with adults from 14-65 on a regular basis. I don't use a one size fits all approach, but rather adapt methods to best serve where you are and what areas you'd like to improve. I work with individuals who may be feeling: Overwhelmed or emotionally drained, Stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, Navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, and Processing trauma or difficult past experiences
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Southern California with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in mental health counseling, and have a doctorate in education (Ed.D). I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is grounded, practical, and tailored to your needs. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps process and reduce the impact of distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR can be especially helpful if you feel stuck in patterns that talk therapy alone hasn’t fully resolved. Whether we’re using EMDR or other approaches, our work will focus on helping you understand your experiences, build effective coping strategies, and move toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship and works closely with you to understand and help you achieve your goals. I recognize the importance of normalizing mental health and viewing it as equally important to physical health - and I hope to improve accessibility to mental health care services for all.
