I work with people to help them resolve issues with insomnia, anxiety, depression, as well as issues pertaining to sports/performance and the LGBTQIA community.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker and have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT is a short-term solution based treatment modality that is meant to help you accomplish your goals ASAP and be on your way. My goal is to not have you need me anymore, which is good for your bank account, and good for the next person who needs help (no waitlist). The therapeutic relationship is an integral part of the process, and I pride myself in establishing strong trusting relationships with my clients. It is only with strong trusting relationships that true sustaining change can take place.
