About My Clients
I work with clients who need help with regulating their emotions and behaviors, reducing or eliminating intense emotions from past trauma, parenting more confidently and effectively, managing stress and anxiety, and having happy and healthy relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help symptoms of borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I completed advanced training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to treat symptoms trauma. I am trained in evidence-based methods of parenting that help children with autism improve long-term level of functioning. I am the mother of an adult child with autism (formerly severe) with whom I worked for many years to help achieve her current status as a happy, employed, independently-living adult.
