My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is all about building a supportive and empowering relationship with you. I truly believe that the key to success in therapy is creating a deep human connection over time. That is why I make it a priority to get to know you as a person. As we work together, I will use evidence-based techniques like CBT to help you better understand your thoughts and behaviors. This is an advanced therapy technique that teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems. It focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and actions. The plan moving forward in your therapy will be to provide you with at least 10 new tools or skills that will help you cope. Working with me will help to decrease your anxiety and mood-related challenges as well as provide you will real-world strategies to help you cope with life stressors. All of the progressive training I've attended over the past 14 years has assisted me to help tons of clients meet their goals.
