About My Clients
Are you living with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment and relationship challenges, or major life changes? Maybe you're feeling stuck in a storm of negativity and pain with no ray of hope in sight. Life can be extremely hard AND you are not alone. Connecting with a well-trained therapist is one of the best investments that you can make in yourself. I will help you explore life patterns, heal wounds from the past, and teach skills needed to build the life and relationships that you want!
My Background and Approach
My areas of focus include, but are not limited to: trauma, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, attachment and relationship issues, identity development, and major life transitions. In addition to my compassion-focused and integrative approach, which means I tailor therapy in a way to fit each individual, I am also trained in EMDR. In our work together, I will focus on providing a safe space to get to know one another. I value transparency and prioritize creating a strong, connected, and trusting therapeutic relationship. I then incorporate a variety of evidence-based theories, such as: Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Theory, Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Informed approaches, and Compassion-Focused treatment. Ultimately, I aim to mold therapy in a way that fits the needs of each unique individual. I am here for YOU.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all experience trauma at some point in our life. Trauma can take many forms and is often the root cause for anxiety, depression, body image issues, addiction, and more. As Dr. Gabor Mate so wisely states, “Trauma is not what happens to you, it’s what happens inside you as a result of what happened to you.” My passion is to walk alongside others as they work to understand their story, discover the wounds that life has created, and experience healing through the therapeutic relationship. I would love to walk alongside of you!
