About My Clients
I love working with both individuals and couples. I help individuals looking to relieve anxiety, trauma, or depression through building self-awareness, modifying unhelpful patterns of relating, and understanding coping mechanisms that are keeping you stuck in a cycle of suffering. I help couples looking to re-establish connection, friendship, and intimacy through understanding and modifying negative cycles that continuously play out and cause relational pain and distress.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being human can be hard and I believe we are all doing the best we can with what we have. As a result of past traumas or painful relational experiences, people create coping mechanisms to protect themselves from further harm. While ingenious at the time of creation, most often these ways of coping have unintended consequences once they're no longer needed. These unintended consequences often show up as feeling disconnected from oneself and important others, and a struggle to live and relate freely as one's true self. It takes courage to reach out for and accept support. Together, we can understand what is going on, bring to light what feels too scary or shameful, empower you to access your innate wisdom, and build awareness around the creative methods of self-protection that may be keeping you in a cycle of suffering. With increased awareness, new perspectives reveal themselves so you can begin to transform how you approach yourself, your life, and your relationships.
