About My Clients
Are you dealing with the loss of a relationship and trying to make sense of your life after this painful change? Or are you stuck in a cycle of conflict and dissatisfaction in your relationships with family, friends or a partner? You want to connect but often find yourself in conflict. I understand that disconnection in relationships is one of the most painful emotional experiences we can have. Let's work on new ways to be with others that are authentic and fulfilling.
My Background and Approach
Helping others build and maintain healthy and fulfilling relationships has always been at the center of my work. My goal is to help you better understand your emotional reactions so that you have the language and awareness to truly connect with those who matter most. My style is direct and warm, and I believe the authenticity I bring helps you have an example of how relationships can feel different. I have training in various forms of therapy that will provide a foundation for your journey toward repairing your beliefs and patterns. We'll work to understand your unique personal history and how it impacts what you expect and how you operate with those around you. We'll work to clearly identify your emotions and help you make sense of those emotions so that you can begin to share and connect rather than end up in the same lonely cycles again and again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a white, cis, woman; and it is important to me that I recognize the various forms of privilege that I benefit from. I have interracial and interfaith family relationships and friendships and work with clients with a wide diversity of identities and experiences. At any given time my caseload has been comprised of 10-30% queer-identified folks, and I work to stay informed of best-practices as an allied clinician.
