I have training in practicing psychodynamically. This training enables me to address and work through the underlying roots of suffering - from our lived experiences as well as how we are impacted by systems of oppression - with clients.
I strongly believe that the most healing aspect of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. My goal is to journey alongside you, sit with you in the difficult moments, and remind you of your brilliance and resilience on those days you may be struggling to see it.
I have extensive training in a variety of techniques for trauma. I particularly enjoy incorporating art, writing, and body awareness into my work with clients who are survivors of trauma.
I have extensive experience working with youth and their caregivers. I have worked in schools and with the foster care system. I have experience liaising with the foster care system and providing consultation regarding best ways to support LGBTQIA+ young folks.
I enjoy working with queer and trans folks and emphasize the legacy of creativity and resilience within the queer community when working with my clients.
I have extensive training on working with survivors of trauma. My conception of trauma includes experiencing systems of oppression, and I work with clients from a social justice-oriented and intersectional framework.
