About My Clients
I work primarily with adults struggling with anxiety and related concerns such as eating disorders and body image issues, trauma, neurodivergence and ADHD, and impulsive-compulsive behavior. Many of my clients are college and graduate students, creatives, STEM, and healthcare providers from a variety of backgrounds and countries.
My Background and Approach
I have been in private practice for over ten years and have worked in varied settings including hospitals, community mental health clinics, and with college students. I draw from evidence-based techniques like cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy, meaning that we will look at patterns of thinking and habits in behavior that may be maintaining negative mood states or problematic situations. My therapeutic style is collaborative, open and interpersonal, meaning we work together to address problems and feedback runs both directions. I strive to meet patients where they are at and personalize treatment whether you are new to therapy or not, wanting help with something specific versus struggling to identify what's wrong, or ready to share versus a little unsure.
