About My Clients
Individuals who engage in therapy can expect to take away understanding and hope. This understanding of how to cope or manage their mental health stimulates hope that MAYBE I CAN! Traumatic experiences that derives from domestic violence, sexual assaults, bullying, childhood trauma, or narcissistic relationships impacts us more than we are aware. Uncovering these dramas that stimulates anxiety, depression, and mood disorders (just to mention a few) has proven effective and beneficial to thrive.
My Background and Approach
The greatest approach is genuine empathy for my clients. I've found that when clients feel heard and seen, they are more apt to disclose what they are really feeling and what thoughts often overwhelm their mind. What I just described is evident in talk therapy. Upon the disclosure, I engage in cognitive behavior therapy. Each individual and struggle is unique, therefore engaging in multiple approaches during therapy is often utilized.
