About My Clients

My focus for the past several years has been geared towards helping clients resolve their trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I have over 10 years of experience helping adults facing various challenges. I'm licensed in CA and trained in CBT, CORS, Seeking Safety, and somatic parts work but my primary modality has been EMDR for the past several years. Coming from the world of community mental health, I've been able to work with various individuals from all walks of life providing psychotherapy, intensive services, case management, and crisis interventions focused on comprehensive care, problem-solving, relapse prevention, and symptom reduction. All of this, in an effort to promote social and emotional wellness. My therapeutic approach is genuine and client-centered to address your specific needs. So I apply various techniques to truly deepen my clients healing experience but mostly to meet you where you are. My hope is that my clients move from not just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but are able to thrive in it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It’s my personal belief that everyone faces setbacks and needs a helping hand from time to time. We've all come face to face with obstacles, struggles, and hard times. As one who's faced many challenges in life including growing up in the inner city witnessing despair, having both parents incarcerated for a period of time, going through a divorce, and staring heartache and brokenness in the face, I personally understand the strength and courage it takes to be an overcomer. One thing that's for certain, I know that I couldn't have done it all on my own.
