About My Clients

My clients are adults who are tired of just getting by and ready to put themselves first. I especially serve BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities who want a therapist who truly gets them. I also have a deep passion for first responders — as a former 911 call taker, I understand the weight of that work. You don't have to have it all figured out. Just show up — I'll meet you the rest of the way.

My Background and Approach

Before I became a therapist, I spent years as a 911 call taker, showing up for people in some of their scariest, most overwhelming moments. That work taught me something I carry into every session: that people are so much stronger than they realize, and that having someone truly in your corner can make all the difference. If you're going through something hard right now, whether it's the heaviness of anxiety or depression, the echoes of past trauma, or just feeling like life has knocked you off balance, I want you to know that you don't have to figure it out alone. My door is open, and you can come exactly as you are. I believe therapy should feel like a breath of fresh air, not another thing to stress about. I take a gentle, collaborative approach, which means I follow your lead. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. I weave together person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused techniques to help you rediscover your own strength and start build

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a firm believer that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances. I am deeply committed to breaking down the stigma around therapy, particularly in BIPOC and first responder communities where asking for help is too often seen as a sign of weakness. I believe it is one of the bravest things a person can do. I stand for creating spaces where people feel truly seen, heard, and safe, especially those who have spent their lives being overlooked or having to mask who they really are. Affirming and inclusive care isn't just something I offer; it's something I believe in with my whole heart. My background as a 911 call taker also shaped my values in a profound way. I've always been drawn to service, to showing up for others in their hardest moments. Becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that calling, and I bring that same sense of dedication and care into every session.
