My Background and Approach
I have over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families who suffer from depression and anxiety disorders, co-occurring substance use disorders, PTSD, LGBT issues, HIV/AIDS, and anger management. I specialize in group therapy, art therapy, and behavioral modification. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and using Motivational Interviewing to engage with others and assist them in moving through the stages of change to achieve their overall goals in life.
