My Background and Approach
I am dedicated to assisting people in realizing their potential and achieving their goals. I am licensed in Illinois and Texas and holds bachelors' in sociology/anthropology and Russian from Swarthmore College and a master's in clinical social work from the University of Chicago. I also studied international psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in trauma. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) solution-focused therapy, the Grief Recovery Method and mindfulness amongst other therapy modalities and techniques to help people on their journey towards wholeness.
