My Background and Approach
I'm Latasha Strawder, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I attended California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), where I obtained an Undergraduate Degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. During my career as a therapist, I have had the pleasure of working with children, teens, young adults and parents. My therapy approach is having unconditional, positive regard and working as a team, strength based, and a solution-focused therapist. I meet my clients where they are while experiencing their present struggle, offering support, guidance and understanding without judgment, ridicule or criticism. I believe that when all parties are working together as a support system, it creates effective change. One of my goals in treatment is to help each person share their story, walk their individual path and have a voice, without judgement. Visit my website for more detailed information.
