About My Clients
You may be managing ADHD, anxiety, anger, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. Maybe you are a teen struggling with emotions, behavior, or school, or an adult who appears to have it together but feels exhausted inside. I work with adolescents and adults who want to better understand themselves, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop practical tools for lasting change. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience supporting adolescents and adults through ADHD, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief, life transitions, and academic concerns. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the process. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness based on your individual needs. Together, we may explore how your thoughts influence emotions and behavior, challenge patterns that are no longer serving you, identify strengths, and develop strategies you can use outside of therapy. I especially enjoy helping clients with ADHD understand how impulsivity, emotional regulation, organization, and executive functioning can affect everyday life. My goal is not simply to address symptoms, but to help you better understand yourself and create meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve to be seen as more than a diagnosis, behavior, or difficult season. Behind anxiety, ADHD, anger, grief, or feeling overwhelmed is a person with a story, strengths, and experiences that matter. I value authenticity, compassion, accountability, personal growth, and creating a space where people can be themselves without judgment. Outside of counseling, I value family, faith, nature, travel, good food, and meaningful experiences. I believe growth does not always happen in a straight line. Sometimes it begins with understanding yourself more clearly, recognizing what you need, and permitting yourself to move forward at your own pace.
