My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I create a supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal. Using evidence-based practices with a person-centered lens, I help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress while building healthier coping skills and deeper self-awareness. I also serve in a leadership role with National Association of Black Counselors, supporting initiatives focused on wellness, advocacy, and culturally responsive mental health care.

I believe healing happens when people feel safe, supported, and truly seen. I value authenticity, balance, faith, and the power of growth through life’s challenges. I’ve lived through experiences that deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to helping others heal, thrive, and create meaningful change in their lives.
