About My Clients
My clients are jugglers. While I haven't yet worked with a circus professional (but would love to!), my clients are juggling the many demands in their lives and healing from the pain that's making them feel stuck. Does it feel like you're trying to keep a lot of balls in the air and it's exhausting trying not to drop them? You're my kind of juggler. Many of my clients are couples and mamas (especially BIPOC and AAPI) who juggle their many responsibilities while trying to grow themselves.
My Background and Approach
I'm big on helping my clients feel empowered and confident, both as a couple and as an individual and both in their personal as well as professional lives. I'm passionate about working with couples and individuals, and I have training in Gottman Method and DBT to help couples communicate clearly, repair relational wounds, grow together, and have confidence in themselves and each other. I'm also passionate about helping couples compassionately separate if they are at the end of their journey together, including navigating co-parenting. I am trained in both EMDR and CBT and help individuals release the things that are getting in the way of them feeling strong, safe, and capable so that they can process the traumatic memories of their past, see themselves as the resilient and valuable people that they are, and develop tools to navigate the steps of their present and on to the future with courage, confidence, and joy. Healing is within reach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you deserve to move through your life with confidence and joy. I'm passionate about helping you feel strong and capable, and I operate from the perspective that we’re not as flawed as we think we are, even when things aren’t going the way we’d like them to. I like to live in the *and* space, not the either/or, this or that space but the this AND that space. Perhaps you're looking to cultivate that space, too, where you can authentically and courageously express all the elements of you that you are passionate about and sometimes appear to be opposite of each other. As a multicultural woman, I’m passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space where all people, especially BIPOC and AAPI clients, mamas, LGBTQIA+ clients, and immigrants and children of immigrants can uncover, develop, and nurture the best version of themselves. I love to travel, so if you notice my office looks different once in a while, I might be in different corner of the world or corner of the room!
