About My Clients
I enjoy working with young adults and I have experience working with a variety of issues including life transitions, anxiety, and body image concerns. I am also passionate about supporting new mothers through the pregnancy and postpartum period. With training as a birth doula and pre/post natal yoga teacher, I bring a holistic approach to perinatal mental health. I often offer expressive arts and yoga based groups for both teens and adults, as well as individual counseling.
My Background and Approach
With over 10 years of experience as a yoga teacher, I bring a body-centered approach to my counseling work. I have training in expressive arts therapy and I am passionate about integrating mind+body awareness with creativity to support mental well-being. I believe the creative process to be a powerful tool in healing and I often incorporate different expressive arts modalities including, but not limited to, writing, dance, movement, poetry, visual journaling, painting, and drawing. The counseling process with me will contain an experiential element and won't be limited to only talking about your problems. I am here to support you and guide you in reconnecting to your body and your own creative process, in whatever season of life you are in.
