About My Clients
Life can feel like it’s moving too fast—leaving little time to process your emotions, heal from old wounds, or consider what truly matters to you. I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs, blending somatic, body-based healing with cognitive, psychodynamic, and mindfulness practices.
My Background and Approach
I bring over 20 years of experience in trauma-informed healing, including clinical training at Wake Forest University and certifications in trauma-sensitive mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and trauma-informed yoga. My goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to create the life you want. I believe healing begins with acceptance, grows through insight, and flourishes in a life aligned with your values. I view therapy as a collaborative process—you bring your story, I bring tools and perspective, and together we uncover the resources you already hold. Clients often tell me they appreciate my combination of warmth, presence, and clear guidance. I’ll listen deeply while helping you identify unhelpful patterns, build practical strategies, and strengthen your emotional and nervous system resilience. Together, we explore what lies beneath your discomfort and create tools to support ongoing change.
