About My Clients
Many clients come to therapy because anxiety, past trauma, or chronic stress has begun affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, or sense of purpose. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, stress, burnout, ADHD, perfectionism, OCD, relationship difficulties, and Attachment Injuries. My clients are often high-achieving professionals or working in high stress/high risk roles (First responders, Healthcare, Corrections).
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed Psychologist based in Sacramento with over two decades of clinical experience working in Private Practice, College Counseling Center, onsite PSP for Correctional staff in a maximum-security prison & First Responders in an active disaster zone, and inpatient/outpatient facilities. I am trained and experienced in using well-established evidence-based treatment approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, as well as newer approaches (EFIT, CPTSD, ADHD). My treatment is Integrative. meaning I use a combination of approaches in a flexible and adaptive way, tailoring interventions to best meet the unique needs of each client. My approach to therapy is Psychodynamic, Trauma-Informed, and informed by Attachment-based research. Instead of just focusing on managing symptoms, we explore the deeper emotional patterns and life experiences that influence how you think, feel, and relate to others, gain greater clarity and insight, and help you chart a new course towards lasting meaningful change.
