About My Clients
I work with capable adults who hold a lot—often in roles where others depend on them. Though life may look “fine,” their nervous systems remain in overdrive. Anxiety, chronic stress, and difficulty resting are common. Many have tried insight-based approaches that didn’t fully resolve things. They’re ready for deeper, body-centered work that creates meaningful, lasting shifts.
My Background and Approach
I’m a somatic psychotherapist and Vermont-licensed therapist (MA, LCMHC) with over 10 years of experience providing somatic, body-centered psychotherapy for anxiety, chronic stress, and trauma. I offer online therapy in Vermont and somatic coaching worldwide. My work is grounded in the understanding that lasting change happens through the nervous system. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic therapy within a talk-based, body-centered approach. With a background in yoga and movement-based practices, I bring a deep understanding of nervous system regulation and how the body holds experience. My approach is steady, attuned, and depth-oriented—supporting adults in moving out of chronic tension and into a more calm, grounded way of being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe symptoms like anxiety, chronic stress, and tension are not problems to eliminate, but intelligent signals from the nervous system. When we learn to listen rather than override them, meaningful change becomes possible. I don’t believe in forcing insight or pushing for quick fixes. Instead, I value a steady, attuned process that supports the body in unwinding long-held patterns. My work is rooted in somatic psychotherapy, where lasting change happens through the nervous system—not just through thinking. I believe you don’t have to relive the past to heal, and that it’s possible to feel more calm, clear, and grounded without losing your depth, capability, or drive.
