About My Clients
Living fully into who you feel called to be doesn't mean sacrificing your wellness or leaving yourself behind. You're terrified of not being fulfilled in the chaos of life. You know you want to work smarter, not harder, but there's not time to even strategize or protect time to create the plan to help you thrive. I'm Lanta, and I help overwhelmed parents and creative entrepreneurs find balance, wholeness and fulfillment as they live out their identities with confidence, peace and grace.
My Background and Approach
To me, the counseling space is a brave space where we can shine light on the parts of us that have always been deep within us, but perhaps we've lost touch of or kept hidden. We'll work to uncover, reveal and dust off these aspects of yourself so that you can live into your truest self and trust your wisest voice. As a parent to two under 5 and a creative entrepreneur myself, I've had a nontraditional work schedule while seeking balance, stability and protecting the time for the people and projects that matter most to me. My sincere hope is that you come to recognize where you have the capacity to thrive, channel that energy into something that is a meaningful investment of your time, and helps you feel grounded in your values and passion. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a fierce advocate for human rights, dignity and sacredness. This is the heartbeat of my work and my calling. I believe that you have permission to take up space in the world. I believe that we all have the capacity to tap into the deep wisdom within us, and doing so helps us reclaim our power and our stories. I believe that creativity is a practice of our authenticity (so you may find me bringing creative resources into your sessions from time to time)! I believe that you are entitled to your spirituality autonomy-- you should be able to talk about your beliefs (or lack thereof) without someone trying to tell you what you should or shouldn't believe. In addition to being a licensed therapist, I’m also an ordained minister, lettering artist, wife, and the proud mama to two little ones. I love baking cookies with my daughter, exploring new restaurants around Atlanta, and I regularly persuade my husband to enjoy chips, guac and margs with me!
