About My Clients
My clients have lost sight of their values. They've been so busy tending to the needs of others that they've neglected themselves. They feel close to drowning from the never-ending demands of family, friends, work, church, and social clubs. They need rest and know that 'no' is a complete sentence. Are you a Christian who is experiencing distress due to same-sex attraction? This is NOT conversion therapy. Sexual Identity Therapy will examine your core beliefs in effort to reduce the tension.
My Background and Approach
Person-centered (Rogerian) Client-centered therapy focuses on the individual as they present themselves. I used active listening, summarizing, and empathy to relate to the client and to communicate that they were heard, understood, and positively regarded. Christian Counseling It is my honor to assist God's people in navigating their faith and the unfortunate woes of life. Concepts like death, violence, and betrayal can be troubling in light of scriptures concerning eternal life, peace, and forgiveness. Oftentimes, clients desire wise counsel who can empathize with their humanity and encourage them to have the hope that is offered in the scriptures. Sex Therapy Christians who are experiencing stress due to navigating their faith and same-sex attraction are offered a safe and judgement-free space to explore and express. We'll examine sexual-identity related milestones and how they've been affected by your spirituality.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a poet/spoken word artist who enjoys painting and dancing. I value my relationship with Christ, family, friends, education, and adventure. Friendship makes the world go round.
