Dr. M's ideal client has experienced many hardships, particularly in childhood. However, they are interesting in assessing their life, their strengths and working together towards healthy goals to manage depression, anxiety, and any stress that might impede achieving a stable healthy life. Anchored on the client's worldview/spirituality/guiding principles, we navigate towards a client's ideal self. We work to dispel shame and self-defeating thoughts/behaviors that create an unhealthy self-image.

Dr. LaNiña Mompremier has several years of experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental health conditions, with adults seeking to manage their emotional concerns while achieving certain lifestyle goals, and those seeking personal exploration. Dr. Mompremier has specialized training from Gallaudet University in providing Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing adults. Dr. Mompremier is proficient in American Sign Language and Signed English. Dr. M enjoys serving and affirming clients of diverse backgrounds. Treatment is client focused and may incorporate multiple therapy approaches depending on treatment goals and client values. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans are created equal. Regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, ability, sexuality, religion, or spiritual practice, we all deserve to be respected, treated with dignity, and shown compassion and love. We all make mistakes and have an innate power to change. That power comes from human drive, social supports, and a commitment to growth. I stand against any practice that marginalizes, discriminates, or otherwise harms another.
