I specialize in working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders. I have extensive experience working with early childhood (ages 3–5) through middle school populations. I have a strong background in AAC programming and supporting autistic children through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. I also specialize in expressive/receptive language disorders, motor-speech disorders, executive functioning, and literacy skills.
My Background and Approach
As a certified speech-language pathologist with over 7 years of pediatric experience, I have a passion for helping children find their voice. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Washington State University. I am certified in Dynamic Temporal-Tactile Cueing (DTTC) to treat childhood apraxia of speech. I have a strong background in AAC programming and supporting autistic children through a neurodiversity-affirming lens. My approach is play-based, child-led, and rooted in connection. I'm also trained in narrative language intervention, gestalt language processing, Verbalizing & Visualizing (Linda-Mood Bell), and the Wilson Reading system. At Golden Speech & Language, I aim to empower children to confidently communicate their wants, needs, and ideas in meaningful ways.
