About My Clients
I have practiced in mental health for 10 years. In that time I have worked with all ages and enjoy that diversity. I work a great deal with Anxiety disorders, Managing anger, ADHD, Autism, Dissociative disorders and Family Systems. I am also working on certification in treating eating disorders.
My Background and Approach
If you are solution focused and goal-oriented in your quest for therapy, need a goal oriented therapist for your family therapy needs or for your child or adolescent, I’m right up your alley. I like for clients to note differences as they walk through the journey. There are huge links between our thought- processes, emotions and behavior and they are often overlooked. Whether focused on a child, adolescent or adult in individual or group setting, these skills are the basis of my work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe we are the captain of our own ship! We are affected by so many things in our daily lives, sometimes very heavy things, that it can seem that our moods, thoughts and actions are mainly responses to what happens to us or around us. I love to help people find their control, whatever the cause of pain or dysfunction. I simply find so much pleasure in helping people utilize their supports and passions to meet their goals in working with me.
