About My Clients
I work with adults who are willing to explore what’s happening beneath the surface with curiosity and openness, engaging in a process that is nonjudgmental, supportive, and at times gently challenging. I often support people navigating identity, sexuality, relationships (including nontraditional structures), trauma, and life transitions. This is collaborative work for people who want to understand themselves more deeply and move forward in a way that aligns with their values and purpose.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Washington, with experience supporting individuals in both crisis and longer-term therapeutic work. My background includes working with people navigating intense emotional states, trauma, and uncertainty, which has shaped a calm, grounded presence. I work from a lens that honors identity in all its forms, and I welcome clients exploring sexuality, queerness, and nontraditional relationships. My approach is collaborative, direct, and relational. I draw from evidence-based practices while staying flexible and attuned, helping you understand patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, build on your strengths, and develop a more compassionate relationship with the different parts of yourself. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s underneath the surface, and move toward something more aligned, intentional, and fully your own.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in the context of their lives. The patterns, defenses, and behaviors that feel frustrating or painful often began as ways of coping, protecting, or surviving. Therapy isn’t about fixing something broken, but about understanding how you came to be where you are and creating space for something new. I value curiosity over judgment and see growth as something that happens through awareness, honesty, and choice. I believe in the importance of autonomy, identity exploration, and the freedom to define your relationships and your life on your own terms. My role is not to direct your path, but to walk alongside you offering perspective, support, and challenge as you move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic.
