About My Clients
Do you find yourself unable to sleep, thinking about the next day's events? Are you feeling alone and wanting to learn techniques to grow and feel less isolated? I work with both adolescents and adults, helping them navigate life transitions and adjustments. My clients often face challenges such as stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship/family difficulties.
My Background and Approach
Originally from Pennsylvania, I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in School Counseling with Licensure. During the school year, I work with teens ages 14-18 on topics such as anxiety, depression, stress management, relationships, motivation, self-esteem, and future academic planning. My background allows me to address issues that arise at pivotal times in our life where there is a lot of change and adjustment through techniques such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I place a strong emphasis on the counselor-client relationship, recognizing it as the foundation of effective counseling. Building a trusting and empathetic connection allows my clients to feel safe and understood, which in turn fosters a meaningful journey.
