About My Clients
As a multilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) psychologist with a focus on intercultural psychology, I work with immigrants, diplomats, and international students from different backgrounds who have relocated due to work, studies, or family demands. I provide individual and couples therapy for adults in Maryland, as well as neuropsychological testing (ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, mental health) for children, adolescents, and adults.
My Background and Approach
I completed my undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology in Brazil, where I worked as a licensed psychologist in private practice for over seven years, and received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in New York. I have trained in community mental health settings and medical and psychiatric hospitals, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NewYork-Presbyterian/Gracie Square Hospital, the International Rescue Committee, and WellSpan Health. My postdoctoral residency at the Kingsbury Wellness & Learning Group, a nonprofit organization, focused on neuropsychological assessment and child psychology.
