About My Clients

I collaborate with adults (18+) who struggle with feeling “less than and not enough.” This belief often fuels chronic stress and the sense that constant striving is necessary for success, approval, and belonging. Over time, this can create a relentless internal narrative: "If I rest, I am lazy. If I am lazy, I lack ambition. If I lack ambition, I fall behind. If I fall behind, I lose respect. If I lose respect, I bring shame." If any of this resonates, I welcome you.

My Background and Approach

I have worked with diverse populations that include children, teens, adults, & families in community behavioral health, & adults (18+) in group practice. I have also worked alongside survivors of trauma, co-creating safe spaces & trusting relationships, while bearing witness to their stories, healing, & thriving. I focus not on asking, “What is wrong?” but on “What has happened?” I honor & welcome individuals of diasporic and intersectional identities & have an especial interest in holding space with members of the AANHPI community. My work is grounded in agency-promoting, attachment-based, and trauma-informed care. I also believe in drawing from the power of narrative, cultural, collective, and ancestral wisdom—wisdom that lives not only in mind, but also in body. All clients are viewed through relational-cultural and holistic lenses, with attention to the systems and contexts that impact and shape their lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a daughter of Chinese immigrants, I've found myself within, in between, & on the margins of intersecting cultural & social spaces. Connecting me to these spaces is talk story—a Chinese oral tradition that blends family history & experiences, cultural values & myths into narrative. Talk story instilled in me a natural curiosity in others’ stories, as well as a deep empathy, & appreciation for, how context & intersubjectivity impact the stories we live out & tell. I believe you contain multitudes & all the parts of you matter. May you find your authentic self uplifted here, seen, heard, known, & understood.
