About My Clients
Have you ever found yourself stuck in the past, replaying painful experiences, even when you just want to move forward? Trauma has a way of making life feel heavy, stealing your sense of safety and hope. You don’t have to stay stuck there. With gentle, trauma-informed approaches like EMDR and IFS, I’ll help you release the weight of those memories and rediscover the strength that’s already inside you
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience helping children, teens, and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions. I am trained in EMDR, IFS, play therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches. What that means for you is simple: you’ll gain tools to calm your body, organize your thoughts, and feel more in control when life feels chaotic. My style is compassionate and down-to-earth—we’ll work together to find practical strategies that fit your life. My goal is for you to leave each session with something you can carry into the real world, whether that’s a grounding skill, a shift in perspective, or a new sense of hope.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At my core, I believe that people are capable of profound change when given the right support. I stand firmly for equity, inclusivity, and the right for every person to feel safe in their identity. I actively support trauma-informed initiatives in my community and am an ally for the LGBTQ+ community and movements that promote justice and belonging. Personally, I know what it’s like to walk through pain and find healing on the other side, and that lived experience shapes my empathy as a therapist. I also believe healing can be found in simple moments, time with family, laughter, nature, and connection.
