About My Clients
Have you experienced something frightening or worrisome that continues to impact your ability to function? Are you frequently doubting or questioning your own experiences? I understand what you may be feeling: rejected, misunderstood, invalidated by those around you. This experience can be lonely and terrifying. I want you to know you are not alone. No matter who you are, you will be seen, respected, and heard. Book an appointment now to learn techniques to manage your symptoms and find relief.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a variety of techniques, including CBT, ACT, and MBSR. Much of my work draws from evidence-based trauma-informed models such as the ARC model and the Sanctuary model. I view each situation through the theoretical lenses of intersectional feminism and systems theory.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide identity-inclusive and culturally responsive telehealth counseling to any person seeking mental health support. Regardless of your identity or lived experience, I specialize in developing an effective, compassionate, and accepting space to seek mental health support for folks and their communities. I welcome those who may be seeking therapy for the first time. I embrace those who identify as LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and/or BIPOC who may not feel comfortable or safe in some therapeutic spaces. I will actively participate in the de-pathologizing of mental health and always believe the lived experiences of our clients. I also welcome those who may have felt misunderstood in other mental health spaces. As a radical social worker, I am personally involved in political movements that improve the lives and wellbeing of the clients I serve. This includes anti-capitalist movements that work towards the collective liberation of all peoples including BDS, BLM, as well as others.
