About My Clients
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, shame, guilt, sexual abuse and trauma. My goal is to create a space to honor your stories and to partner up with you while walking along the healing path.
My Background and Approach
People are part of a life tapestry which are created throughout their lifespan and my philosophy is to provide a safe space to explore every thread that represents parts of their lives. In therapy I walk the exploration journal to help create, foster, and challenge while maintaining a healthy positive view of their life journey with the self. Part of this process starts by incorporating mindfulness, processing, and insight on the impact that such relationships have on one’s mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. My theoretical orientation is client centered and systemic. My approach includes a variety of modalities including solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy/skills, narrative, and supportive therapy.
