About My Clients

My clinical, academic, and community work has made me attuned to the strengths and needs of LGBTQIA+ young adults, queer and trans people of color, and neurodivergent communities. I work to provide an affirmative, trauma-informed space that allows individuals, couples, and families to explore both their inner and outer worlds to gain a sense of ownership and authenticity in themselves. I am trained to support people in navigating life transitions, anxiety and panic disorders, and trauma.

My Background and Approach

My practice looks to explore both your internal and external world to gain a sense of ownership and authenticity over them. Using an affirmative approach, I take the time to listen to the different histories, relationships, and facets that make up who you are. By exploring the mosaic that makes up who you are, we can look forward to who you want to be. I take a psychoanalytic and experiential approach to allow us both to explore the relationship between our unconscious dynamics and relational patterns. By being in an environment where one can explore each of our rich and complex histories we can begin to recognize our own ability to change. My work centers the belief that the past, present, and future are intertwined and come up both in and outside of the therapy room. Through slowing down, recognizing and working through our history we can look to unlock your authentic self together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a trans therapist of color, I aim to provide both space for internal dynamics as well as the effects oppressive institutions. My practice is informed by decolonial and liberation values that look to resist the totalizing narratives placed upon oppressed populations. Together, we can separate ourselves from beliefs, narratives, and systems that seek to oppress us.
