My Background and Approach
My name is Kyshia Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a native Floridian and graduate of University of Florida, 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Education and a Master of Social Work degree from University of Central Florida, 2007. I have 14 years of experience in the field of social work, working from Northeast Florida to South Florida, and I am licensed through the Florida Department of Health. I utilize therapeutic modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and other evidenced based treatment practices. I possess a host of experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, children and families, geriatric patients, working in various settings to include schools, diverse mental health nonprofit organizations, hospitals, inpatient, and outpatient care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
