About My Clients
I work with teens and young adults (ages 14-21) who are navigating life transitions, exploring gender identity, or managing the stress of growing up. My ideal client is someone looking for a safe, empathetic space where they can take the lead in their healing journey. If you're seeking support with self-discovery, coping with change, or gaining clarity during this transitional period, I’m here to help you build confidence and find your path forward.
My Background and Approach
I’m a therapist dedicated to helping teens and young adults navigate life’s transitions and explore their gender identity. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have years of experience working with individuals aged 14-21. My approach is rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and a strong belief in the importance of a judgment-free space where clients feel empowered to lead the conversation. I use a combination of evidence-based therapies tailored to each person’s needs, including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based approaches. Whether you’re adjusting to high school, college, or grappling with changes in your gender identity, my goal is to create a collaborative, supportive environment that fosters growth, self-exploration, and resilience. I believe that every person has the ability to heal and thrive when given the space and support they need to do so.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore your true self. I approach each session with empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to creating a judgment-free environment. I am passionate about working with youth, particularly those in the LGBTQ+ community, as they navigate identity exploration and the challenges that come with it. My advocacy for social justice informs my practice, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background or identity, receives compassionate and equitable care. In addition to my work with the LGBT+ community, I have experience working with survivors of sexual violence. My approach is trauma-informed, creating a safe, affirming space for healing at your own pace. I believe that therapy is not just about managing pain but also about building resilience, reclaiming power, and fostering personal growth. Everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and confident in their journey toward healing.
