About My Clients
Perhaps you feel like the harder your are on yourself, but instead of it motivating you, you get stuck in overthinking, shame, and overwhelm. Maybe you are feeling lost and your relationships and your work are suffering. I specialize helping Neurodivergent clients (ADHD, Autism, etc) use their strengths and new tools to navigate challenges and change. Together, I can help you understand your brain-body connection, and use holistic practices to not just survive the ups and downs, but thrive.
My Background and Approach
I have a warm, grounded and supportive approach to therapy. I have a background in education and art. I find that an integrative approach to self understanding and practical tools in a safe space can make a significant impact on how my clients feel and show up in their lives. Learning about the connections between mind-body, our behaviors, and our environment can be powerful, especially when we bring in the new understandings from research about the brain, the impact of trauma, and insights from neuropsychology. I am passionate about supporting clients to learn ways to feel calmer, clearer, and more grounded in themselves and their environment, and how to communicate and build deeper connections in their relationships. I meet clients where they are and tailor sessions to your needs and interests, bringing in your strengths, creativity, and even humor, to encourage lasting growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value compassion and acceptance, embracing differences and open empathic communication. I grew up in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, multi-religious, blended family, so I am familiar with walking between worlds and for me, I look for common connection points between. I have been interested in the common threads between different systems and paths for most of my life, and I have lived on multiple continents. I believe in affirming, sensitive, and competent care for all identities. For my LGBTQI+ and BIPOC loved ones and clients, I believe in the importance of education and allyship, and with this comes cultural humility along with education and affirmation.
