About My Clients
I assist clients with various issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, substance use, and relationship concerns. I believe individuals are doing the best they can with the tools that they have. It is common to want to live a more manageable life, and I can provide you with the tools to do that. I can help clients to improve their mood with guidance and education. This entails but is not limited to learning new coping skills, and processing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
My Background and Approach
Education: Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2019 (University of Nebraska, Omaha) Bachelor of Science in Psychology, 2016 (Friends University, Wichita) Background: I have experience working with individuals over the age of 13 that struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, substance use, crisis, interpersonal relationships, isolation, and anger. I was a clinical intern at a non-profit in Omaha, Nebraska where I saw clients for individual therapy, couples counseling, evaluations and I co-facilitated group therapy.
