About My Clients
My clients are often high functioning women trying to balance family and career. They have survived by stuffing things down, focusing on others, and hoping it will get better. They often have difficulty shutting off their mind at night or concentrating, always thinking about what ifs and all the things they should be doing. Lots of times irritability is a problem, and because of difficulty communicating their needs, they blow up on the people they care about most.
My Background and Approach
I am an anxiety expert through lived experience. I have been laser focused on finding coping skills, and sharing my knowledge, since I can remember. In session, I will balance supportive listening with teaching actual strategies to reduce stress, improve communication, and increase mindfulness and relaxation. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

My favorite quote is by Marcus Aurelius "You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength." Our brains are incredibly powerful. I can help you learn ways to feel less overwhelmed, and more like you can handle whatever comes your way. Healthy relationships, self worth, and confidence are a lot easier with the right support.
