About My Clients
My clients are high-achieving women who hold themselves to impossibly high standards and very little self-compassion. On the outside they look like they have it together. On the inside they're replaying a conversation from three days ago or rehearsing what to say before a hard one. We work on what's actually fueling those standards, so being ambitious stops costing you this much. Sessions are weekly, virtual, and specific to what you're actually stuck on.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience helping women navigate anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressure of always needing to get it right. I use CBT, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, and compassion-focused work, and I pick the approach based on what you're actually stuck on that week, not a fixed program. I've done this work myself. I know what it's like to try to fix yourself into someone calmer, and I know how different it feels to get curious about the pattern instead. That's the shift most of my clients are looking for: not less ambition, but a version of it that doesn't run on fear of getting it wrong.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the pattern more than the symptom. If you're anxious, perfectionistic, or exhausted from managing everyone else's reactions, that usually didn't come from nowhere, and it's not something to just talk yourself out of. I think of therapy as the place where you get to slow that pattern down enough to actually look at it, instead of just living inside it. You already notice more about yourself than you give yourself credit for. My job is to help you trust that noticing instead of needing someone else to confirm it. Outside the therapy room, you can find me lifting weights, curled under a weighted blanket with a hockey romance or thriller, catching every Taylor Swift lyric drop, or planning my next trip with my husband. Sundays are sacred for rest, movement, nourishing meals, and a sweet treat. Healing gets to be honest. It can also have joy and softness.
