Story time: when I was in when I was in second grade a girl on the the school bus told me she was unhappy with her life. We brainstormed things she could do to feel better and I checked in with her daily to assess her progress. I'll never forget the day she told me she was "cured." It was one of the proudest days of my elementary school career.
I know, I know - it's a goofy story but it just goes to show that for as long as I can remember, I've loved meeting with people to talk about the things that matter - hopes, dreams, the things that make our hearts ache and light up, goals, and all things in between. The truth is, I think you are the expert on your life and already have everything you need to be your best self. My goal as a therapist is to help uncover the barriers that are keeping you from standing in your power and lighting the world up with your brilliance. When I'm not in session, I'm probably traveling, reading, sipping tea, watching a movie, or spending time in nature.
