I have experience working with a variety of people in all areas of life, work mostly with teens and adults. I believe in a Person-Centered approach, which means that WE work together in the process of therapy toward formalizing your desired treatment goals for self-growth.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in the areas of General Mental Health, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationships and Addiction. Within my generalist framework, I incorporate the use of mindfulness, exploration of the here-and-now, and a focus on helping you grow into your desired self. I am certified in EMDR therapy through EMDRIA. In addition, I am trained in ACT, EFT and CBT. Currently, I am in a Post-Graduate Psychoanalytic Program to become a certified Gestalt Psychotherapist in New York State.
